Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 6 pm–3:45 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach New York Halal Pizza at (773) 856-3327; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. THEY HAVE THE BEST IRANI CHAI IN THE WORLD. This is an understatement. Very serious. The chai has a great texture and very good taste. Not watered down whatsoever. Plus they have their own made bakery items.

Loved the Irani chai and Hyderabadi snacks at New York Halal Pizza β€” everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. A great spot for authentic flavors with a cozy, welcoming vibe!

I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful this place is. The chai is absolutely fantasticβ€”truly one of the best I've ever had. What impressed me even more was the exceptional kindness and honesty of the gentleman there. I had a small doubt about the bill, and after I discussed it with him, he carefully checked everything and, two weeks later, gave me a full cash refund along with a sincere apology, even though I hadn't asked for it. That level of integrity and customer care is incredibly rare. I've never experienced such genuine hospitality, and I've never had chai this good anywhere else. Highly recommended!

I recently visited New York Halal Pizza and honestly, the taste of their bakery items really stood out. Everything from the puffs to the cakes was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The puffs had that crispy outside with a well-seasoned filling inside, just the way it should be. Their cakes were soft, moist, and not overly sweet, which made them even better. What I personally loved the most were the Osmania biscuits, puffs and tea. The biscuits had that perfect balance of slightly sweet and salty, and when you dip them in their hot chai, it just hits differently. It gave me proper Hyderabadi vibes. Overall, if you’re looking for a place with great bakery taste and authentic snacks, this is definitely worth visiting. I’ll be going back again for sure. β€”Sayeed

DISGUSTING & BURNT FOOD, TERRIBLE SERVICE, LONG WAIT, LOW QUANTITY!!!! We ordered a chicken burger, fish burger, fries. The meat itself tasted and looks like it was fried in old oil, the lettuce, onions, and tomatoes used were going bad, and barely any fries given, and bun and meat obviously burnt. I asked the cashier man to make sure it’s not burnt but still gave burnt food and when I opened the bag and complained he claimed it’s the cheese that’s burnt…. and for the fries said, β€œI actually gave you more fries!” He was very rude. My stomach hurt after 😭
